- East Twin Lakes/Quail Mountain properties are bordered on the east by U.S. Highway 24, and the Highway more or less parallels the Upper Arkansas River. The town of Buena Vista is approximately 20 miles to the south and the town of Leadville is approximately 15 miles north.
